“Perdido Key residents got their first look Tuesday at plans for a $4.5 million sports complex that will be built off Bauer Road.
At a meeting at Jim Bailey Middle School, residents reviewed two conceptual plans and advised officials about the amenities they favor.
Some were concerned about noise, parking, access, drainage and a central location for trash at the park.
‘My concern is quality of life,’ said Sue Byrd, 59, who lives near where the complex will be built. ‘It’s so quiet here after 8 o’clock or 9 o’clock. That’s going to be gone.’”
